A letter to all our amazing supporters:
"What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and for the world remains and is immortal." Albert Pine
In the last three months 2,700 of you have donated £544,000 to the WISE project at CAT. There have been moments when the staff have shed literal tears at the kindness and support demonstrated by so many of you.
We have tried to personally thank everyone - if we missed any of you then please accept my sincerest thanks now. Your donations have enabled this amazing project to open on time and made a real difference to morale amongst the staff and students.
Thanks to your donations, the Wales Institute for Sustainable Education will fulfil the aim of teaching hundreds of thousands of people about environmental sustainability.
Suddenly, the chances of achieving a low-carbon future are more realistic than before and the staff and lecturers at CAT will continue the tradition of alternative education to ensure a brighter, greener future for all of us.
We couldn't have achieved any of this without you - so, again thank you from all of us.

Tanya Hawkes
Director of Funding & Development
PS: Owing to rising building costs generally, we have had to cut back on some of the fixtures and fittings in WISE and have put a large amount of our own charitable reserves into the project. You can still help us by donating via our online form.
