The Graduate School of the Environment (GSE) offers two routes for doctoral study. Our Professional Doctorate (Doctor of Ecological Building Practices) is run in collaboration with the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC) and supervision is by staff from staff from both the GSE and UWIC. PhD students who wish to be supervised by a member of GSE staff will usually be registered at the University of East London although each application is treated individually.
