Jane Davidson, the new Minister for
Sustainability and Rural Development in the Welsh Assembly Government,
will officially launch the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT)'s
Graduate School for the Environment (GSE) today.
A new Architecture Part 2 Diploma is starting at the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) this September.
The course will be for students who have already acquired a valid Part
1 qualification and is built on the success of the current MSc
Architecture: Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies programme. The
MSc has been running at CAT since 2000 and currently has 400 students,
many of which have been architects.
Today,
while the government announces its draft climate change bill, The
Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) launches the Graduate School
for the Environment. The School will train some of the experts needed
for the UK's transition to a low-carbon economy.
